For the best results, allow your hair to grow to at least ¼ inch long (about 2–3 weeks of growth) so the wax can properly grip the hair. Avoid shaving for at least 2 weeks beforehand, or ideally 3–4 weeks if possible. Gently exfoliate 1–2 days before your appointment, but skip exfoliation the day of your wax. On the day of your appointment, arrive with clean skin and avoid applying lotions, oils, or other products to the area. Wear loose, comfortable clothing to minimize friction afterward. If possible, limit caffeine and alcohol before your appointment, as they may increase sensitivity for some clients.

Your first Brazilian is completely normal to be a little nerve-wracking! We’ll start with a quick consultation and go over any questions or concerns you may have before getting started. I’ll walk you through the process and check in with you throughout your service to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible. The area is cleansed before waxing, and fresh, single-use applicators are used throughout your service. Some temporary redness, sensitivity, or small bumps afterward is completely normal and typically settles within a short period of time.

For the best results, I recommend booking your Brazilian every 4–6 weeks. Staying on a consistent waxing schedule allows the hair to grow through similar cycles, which can help lead to more consistent results and softer, slower regrowth over time. Try to avoid shaving between appointments whenever possible.

Yes! You can absolutely still get waxed while on your period. Just wear a tampon or menstrual cup during your appointment and let me know beforehand so I can make sure you’re as comfortable as possible.
